 Day 01: Pickup from Chandigarh + Arrival in Kasauli + Sightseeing in Kasauli

The Kasauli Rajgarh Tour will start as soon as you arrive in Chandigarh. Our tour representative will pick you up from Chandigarh Railway Station/ Chandigarh Airport and we will drive to Kasauli by private vehicle. Chandigarh to Kasauli is a distance of 57 km, and it will take just under 2 hours to reach Kasauli by road. After we reach Kasauli, you can check-in at the hotel and rest for a while. In the afternoon we will begin our sightseeing tour of Kasauli. The attractions that we have included in this day’s tour in Kasauli are shown below.

  • Christ Church:This church called Christ Church is famous for its Gothic architecture, clock tower, and colored stained glass windows.
  • Monkey Point:This is one of the highest points in Kasauli. People also call it Manki Point. There is a small Hanuman temple on the top of the hill. People believe that the foot of Lord Hanuman touched the hilltop and therefore it is called Monkey Point.

 Day 02: Sightseeing in Kasauli + Arrival in Rajgarh & Check-in

This is going to be an exciting second day of the Kasauli Rajgarh Tour Package. Today we will wake up early and after breakfast, go for yet another sightseeing tour of Kasauli. We will visit the popular temples near Kasauli.

  • Shoolini Devi Temple:This temple is dedicated to an incarnation of Goddess Durga called Shoolini Devi. She is a local deity in this region and people believe that the goddess once lived in this temple.

  • Jatoli Temple:This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in 1973 by Swami Krishnanand Paramhansa Maharaj, who also attained Samadhi in the temple. You can view scenic valleys from this temple.
  • Giri River:This river called Giri River locally is a tributary of the Yamuna River and it flows through Himachal Pradesh.

This small town of Rajgarh is famous for its forests and orchards. We have included the following major tourist attractions in Rajgarh in today’s tour itinerary. After this sightseeing tour of Rajgarh, we will return to our hotel. Here you can play indoors and enjoy sports activities. You will have dinner in the hotel and then stay here overnight.

  • Jam factory:Here, you can watch how local women make jam and other products from fruits.
