Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh & former summer capital of British Raj known as queen of hills, which offer some of the most beautiful view of Himalayas. Overnight stay in hotel at Shimla.
Day 02/:-Shimla – Narkanda – Rampur – Jeori – Sarahan. (175 Km/7-8 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Sarahan, a small village at the boarder of Shimla and Kinnaur districts of Himachal Pradesh with the drive thick cedar forest of Narkanda from where we descend down to Rampur and Sarahan. Check in hotel at Sarahan. Evening visit the famous Bhimakali temple in Sarahan. From here one can have superb view of Shrikhand Mahadev Peak. Overnight stay in hotel at Sarahan.
Day 03/:-Sarahan – Jeori – Wangtu – Karcham – Sangla. (92 Km/4-5hrs)
This day you enter into Sangla-Baspa Valley, one of the most beautiful and hidden valleys in Kinnaur District with the drive on old Hindustan-Tibet road along with Satluj River we take a side road from Karcham to enter into this hidden valley Sangla. Check in Hotel in Sangla. Overnight stay in hotel at Sangla.
Day 04/:-Sangla –Raksham - Chitkul –Sangla.
After breakfast drive to Chitkul village last village on indo-Chinese border. Walk inside Chitkul village. Later drive back to Sangla. Afternoon visit Kamru Fort temple above Sangla village. Overnight stay in hotel at Sangla.
Day 05: Sangla – Kalpa (40 KM/Approx 2 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Kalpa. From here on can have the most beautiful view of the holy Kinner-Kailash Mountain. Arrive Kalpa and check in hotel. Later proceed to visit Suicide Point, Rogi Village, Monastery and Narayan-Nagini Temple. Overnight stay in hotel at Kalpa.
Day 06: Kalpa – Nako --Tabo (150 KM/Approx 6 hrs drive)
Today you will notice a dramatic change in the landscape as you enter from Kinnaur valley to Spiti valley-the green Kinnaur valley is suddenly replaced by dry dessert of Spiti valley. You drive along Satluj River to Khab where Spiti River meets the Satluj. From Khab it is uphill drive on a zigzag road to Nako village visit Nako Lake and then to Tabo. Check into hotel in Tabo. Evening visit more than 1000 years’ old Tabo monastery (Established in 996 CE) which houses the ancient scriptures and ancient thangka paintings. Overnight stay in hotel at Tabo.
Day 07: Tabo - Kaza - Dhankar - Pin valley – (100 KM/Approx 4-5 hrs drive)
Leave after breakfast and you spend the whole day on the road making some side excursions to visit the remote villages and monasteries. Dhankar monastery is situated on top of a hill and is approachable by a small mountain road. Also visit Pin Valley Kungri & kungri monastery Mud Village - Last village in Pin Valley. Arrive Kaza and check in hotel. Overnight stay in hotel at Kaza.
Day 08: In Kaza-Key Monastery – Kibbar Village - Langa Za (4280mtrs) – Komic (4560mtrs)—Kaza(78kms /5-6hrs)
This day you will make a side excursion to visit Key Monastery and Kibber village, one of the highest permanently inhabited villages in the world. Afternoon visit Langa Za and start walking towards million years old Fossil Park in Langza, then move towards world’s highest motrable village in the world with the electricity (Komic 4550mtrs) have lunch in a local home in langaza on direct payment basis. Evening free for your own activity to explore local market in Kaza. Overnight stay in hotel at Kaza.
Day 09: Kaza – Losar -Kunzum Pass (4500 M) Chandertal Lake(4200mtrs) – Rohtang Pass(3900mtrs ) --Manali (200 KM/Approx 9-10 hrs drive)
Leave after early breakfast from Kaza to Manali over Kunzum Pass (4500 M) from where you have beautiful view of the high Himalayan peaks. Once we cross Kunzum Pass we enter into Lahul valley. It is a side drive on a very rough road to Chandratal Lake, the most beautiful high altitude mountain lake. Then drive through Rohtang Pass(3900mtrs) & arrive Manali.
